Jay Altman Inc. ("we") operates JayAltman.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell your personal information.

What you give us

When you subscribe to the Intelligence Brief, request a resource, apply for coaching, submit a speaking or contact inquiry, or ask us to email your game plan, we store the information you submit (such as your name, email address and the answers on the form) so we can respond and deliver what you asked for.

The Freedom Assessment

Your individual assessment answers are processed in your browser and kept only for your current browser session. When you finish, we store derived results only — your four engine scores, primary and secondary opportunity, wealth phase, business stage and AI maturity — not your revenue, asset or health answers. Shared Freedom Map links and images contain scores and your opportunity title only, never dollar figures or health answers.

Personalization (with your consent)

If you choose "Personalize", we store non-sensitive preferences in your browser's local storage — for example your focus area, business stage, wealth phase, AI maturity, the milestones you check on the Freedom Scoreboard, and a random anonymous identifier. We use these to customize what you see and to recognize return visits. Choosing "Essential only" deletes these and keeps personalization off.

Analytics

We record first-party events such as page views, assessment starts and completions, product link clicks, resource downloads and article read depth. These events are stored in our own database; we do not use third-party advertising trackers. Without personalization consent, events are recorded without an identifier.

Ask Jay AI

Questions you ask Ask Jay AI are logged with an anonymous identifier (if you consented to personalization) so we can improve the knowledge base. When generative answers are enabled, your question and the relevant excerpts of Jay's published material are sent to our AI provider, Anthropic, to compose the answer. Please do not enter sensitive personal, financial or health information.

Retention and your rights

We keep submissions for as long as needed to serve you and operate our business. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or unsubscribe at any time, by contacting us through the contact page.
