Quiet the "ticker of to-do's"

I am proud to say that I have a strong group of female friendships that I have mantained and made a priority over the last 20 years, but there was something different about being a part of the November 2023 Pause Retreat. It combined relaxation with learning and thinking about myself and what I want from the next stage of life. I loved the work we did on stepping back and realizing how we are showing up in relationships and for the first time in a long time the 'ticker' of all my "to-do's" got a bit quieter as I could wake up each day and think of ME!

I need more time away

Pause Gals are changing the way we build community. As a women in midlife, Mom of 3 teenagers and a business owner it is so easy to get stuck in all of the 'to-do's of life and forget about the importance of building relationships with other women. The first Pause retreat got me out of my house and surrounded with like minded women hungry to learn more about who they are and who they want to be as they navigate through this life. I wont miss a "Pause Gals" event!

Calming space even for introverts

There has been so much change in life lately and it's easy to get caught up in what everyone else needs and to put my own needs on the back burner. Even though I am an introvert there is something about the PAUSE events that makes me feel I'm in a space where I can be myself and connect with others in a way that gives me energy. I always walk away with a sense of calm that I crave.

Get out of the hustle

November ’23 Pause Retreat was my first ever retreat so I really didn’t know what to expect or know what I needed but the agenda was spot on. It’s always a good reminder to slow down and reflect on where you are and where you want to be. We tend to forget this in our day to day hustle and bustle. Everything was so well organized from the food to the meetings to the special gifts, cards and overall peaceful feel of the atmosphere. Loved it all and feel like I have a supportive community now through this shared experience.
